Monthly get togethers at the LACE cafe in Barre while the kids are in school. LACE (Local Agricultural Community Exchange) is a farm-to-community market-cafe-community center. There's also a play area for children with games, books, and toys. 159 North Main St., 802-476-4276, www.lacevt.org . LACE is located in downtown Barre, two doors to the left of Family Dollar.
